The Brandon Tiger Birthday Party!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Brandon requested his CEIA teachers and teacher Beth come to his party. We were so happy to see so many teachers come wish Brandon a Happy Birthday! The staff wanted to give Brandon his gift before they left, Brandon wanted to do it in his room.   He is so loved by this group! 

There was a big rain storm that came through before our party ended.  Everyone went inside to play.   Later that afternoon Brayden and Brandon went on the slide when there was a break in the rain. Brandon of course stripped his clothes, man did he go fast down this slide!!

 All tuckered out and asleep on the couch before 7pm.  It was a fun day!

The start of the birthday weekend!!!

Our little boy is growing up!  Brandon turns 4 !  We had Doug's family over for family dinner to kick off his birthday weekend.   He was so excited to blow the candle! This is the first year he was able to do it!!   We are so proud of him!

First illness for the 2013-14 school year

This is such a sad looking photo.  This is unheard of in our house to have both kids calm and watching TV. Karly was sent home from school with a fever and cough, Brandon came home that afternoon sick with a fever and later developed a cough.   I guess the good thing is they can both get over it together without passing back and forth!

Playing outside

Seriously overnight the kids became obsessed with riding bikes!  We spent the whole weekend playing with the neighbor and a play date on bikes.  It was so much fun watching them flying down the driveway. I'll post a video soon!

Vegas get away!

Doug and I went to Vegas to celebrate Doug's 40th and it was the first time we left both kids behind with grandma and pop pop.   It was a much needed break!

 We ate dinner at the Gordan Ramsy's steakhouse at the Paris hotel.  If you watch Hell's kitchen you'll know why this is so good!

 We spent most of our time lounging by the pool! 

 While we were gone, we got some funny/cute pictures from my parents with the kids.   Grandma and pop pop were pretty tired after having them for 48 hours!

It was a fun restful get away, but we were ready to get home and see the kiddos!

School of Imagination

Not the best picture, but Brandon started School of Imagination today! He already attends for social skills classes but was offered a spot in their pre-k class 3 days a week after being told there was a 6 month wait! Its an amazing school. 2/3 of the class is normal kids and 1/3 are high functioning kids like Brandon.  We have high hopes for him socially and educationally.   We're currently waiting for a full time spot to open up and we plan to get him in speech classes! This is the only place I can drop him off and he is smiling and comfortable all day long! He is still attending his afternoon preschool through the district too.

Brandon in a Ball!

We went to a community event this past weekend and Brandon insisted on getting in the ball and running. It was pretty funny, he did good and he had several flips but he Loved it!
